Jun 16, 2017 — The trail leading to Boy Scout Tree is a very popular hike in Jedidiah Smith Redwoods State Park. It's got really well-maintained trail complete with bridge constructions and wooden steps to prevent slips. Despite its popularity, it's still gorgeous and worth visiting even if crowds scare you. The scenery is outstanding. Boy Scout Tree is a massive, labeled redwood comprised of two trees mushed together. The trail continues a little further to the lush Fern Falls. This is a small, picturesque waterfall draped in greenery.
