Oct 06, 2016 — Lower Calf Creek Falls is a popular destination along the gorgeous UT-12. The hike is mostly flat and sandy and relatively short, leading to the photogenic falls. The well-maintained trail hugs the west side cliffs of Calf Creek's watercourse. The sandstone bluffs paralleling the creek progressively get more narrow and sheer, and the sporadic glimpses toward Calf Creek are always nice contrast to the desert. I reached Calf Creek Falls and enjoyed the flowing water and green mosses growing out of the cliff face before returning the way I came.
Please consider helping me out if you find my site useful. I'm not sponsored, so all site fees are out-of-pocket and my time preparing these trip reports is unpaid. You can also hire me as a web developer. I really appreciate it!
If you find my site helpful, please help me replace my many broken cameras, fund my website fees (hosting, APIs, security), or just support my countless hours of work. I pay for all expenses myself, and all trip reports I post are unpaid and unsponsored, so any support is really appreciated!
