Nov 16, 2015 — This hike in Caprock Canyons State Park creates a nice loop. I started along the North Canyon Trail, which sticks mostly to the canyon watercourse as it leads to Fern Cave. This nice feature marks the start of the second hald of the loop, the Haynes Ridge Trail. There are some steeper sections to get up and later down the ridge, but the views are really nice. This is a really cool part of Texas, and I'd love to return to explore some of the hidden canyons throughout.
