Oct 14, 2018 — I visited White Sands National Park years ago, and since I was a bit under the weather today I thought an easy walk through a beautiful place was in order. The Dune Life Nature Trail follows a series of liberally placed blue stakes through a more vegetated section of the park, the trail also well-defined by footprints. The trail winds around the white sand dunes and visits some of the trees that somehow grow here. While I saw no wildlife, it was really pretty and sort of surreal to see foliage in this seemingly unhospitable sandscape.
