Jun 02, 2016 — Huber Woods is a great local county park with a well-marked and extensive trail system. Though mostly forested, a few of the trails emerge into meadows. For this hike I took the Meadow Ramble Trail and looped in Fox Hollow. You can extend or reduce the hike in all sorts of ways, but it's hard to go too wrong if you need a nice woodsy hike in central New Jersey. I particularly like the Fox Hollow Trail because of the cozy tunnel effect formed by hanging rhodedendrons. The Monmouth County Park System does an amazing job with their parks.
