Jul 28, 2016 — Molly's Knob is a popular little hike in Hungry Mother State Park. It's got a few nice viewpoints along the way as the hike wraps around the west ridge of Molly's Knob, including a nice perspective down on Hungry Mother Lake. The trail then wraps around the southern slopes and ascends to the summit. The trail up is wide and mostly just forested for the most part, but I got some nice fog on my visit, which added a nice vibe. The top has a couple of benches for relaxing and viewing the hills of western Virginia.
Please consider helping me out if you find my site useful. I'm not sponsored, so all site fees are out-of-pocket and my time preparing these trip reports is unpaid. You can also hire me as a web developer. I really appreciate it!
If you find my site helpful, please help me replace my many broken cameras, fund my website fees (hosting, APIs, security), or just support my countless hours of work. I pay for all expenses myself, and all trip reports I post are unpaid and unsponsored, so any support is really appreciated!
