May 25, 2016 — This is a nice forest hike to Moore Cove Falls, a pretty cascade tumbling off slickrock into a cove below. Located just northeast of the iconic Looking Glass Rock, this hike is a nice add-on to others in the area. The trail is very popular and well-maintained, complete with wooden boardwalks. After some very light unduations along the wide and hardpacked trail, I got to Moore Cove Falls and just enjoyed the water sounds. The falls pour off a slickrock slope nestled amongst dense greenery, and a small pool has accumulated beneath them. From here the water flows south into Looking Glass Creek.
