Jul 08, 2018 — Ozone Falls is a particularly beautiful waterfall pretty much just off the Interstate. I'd recommend it as a side-trip if you're in the area because the hike is so short and it's a realy popular place. My brother Nick and I started by hiking along a social trail to the top of the falls, where the overlook to the pool of water below was really cool. A series of trails lead all over the top of the falls , and we located the primary trail leading down to the base of Ozone Falls, which might be steep for some. The ampitheater formed by Ozone Falls was spectactular, and the steady stream of water is clearly a favorite hangout place for locals. There's even a trail leading behind the falls at the base of the ampitheater. We made a little loop that wraps around the pool.
