Jun 29, 2017 — This is a short, pretty slitstone slot canyon uncreatively called "The Slot" located within Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, just off the side of the road. Any car can make it to the trailhead. A short walk through the desert leads down into the canyon. Along the way, there's an interesting fallen chunk of rock that looms above as you hike underneath. After the short narrows, the canyon opens up. We wandered past the main narrows just to check out another section to the north, but turned around shortly after, retracing our steps.
