Oct 31, 2015 — Spooky Canyon is a cute little conglomerate slot canyon just off the highway. I parked on the side of the road, and I believe it's legal to cross the fence, which is likely meant to keep wildlife from getting murdered on the road. A short parallel along the highway and I headed into the slot. There are a few spur canyons that leave the main canyon, but it's definitely a fun little choose-your-own-adventure kind of deal. There is a final dryfall that prevented me from getting deeper into the slot, but you can definitely see a lot of cool formations by walking or light scrambling.
Please consider helping me out if you find my site useful. I'm not sponsored, so all site fees are out-of-pocket and my time preparing these trip reports is unpaid. You can also hire me as a web developer. I really appreciate it!
If you find my site helpful, please help me replace my many broken cameras, fund my website fees (hosting, APIs, security), or just support my countless hours of work. I pay for all expenses myself, and all trip reports I post are unpaid and unsponsored, so any support is really appreciated!
