Oct 01, 2017 — This is one of the more popular trails in Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, but includes some fun moves on boulders to get to the base of Ice Box Canyon Falls. From the trailhead, a pretty direct and well-maintained trail leads to the mouth of Ice Box Canyon before dropping off the north side and into the bouldery wash that leads into the narrows. From here there is plenty of Class 2 boulder-hopping up to the base of the falls. Unfortunately I've had no luck seeing the waterfall flowing even after three visits. Maybe you'll have better luck.
Please consider helping me out if you find my site useful. I'm not sponsored, so all site fees are out-of-pocket and my time preparing these trip reports is unpaid. You can also hire me as a web developer. I really appreciate it!
If you find my site helpful, please help me replace my many broken cameras, fund my website fees (hosting, APIs, security), or just support my countless hours of work. I pay for all expenses myself, and all trip reports I post are unpaid and unsponsored, so any support is really appreciated!
