Feb 12, 2019 — Kaiser Hot Spring was just a label I discovered when scouring a map, but it turned out plenty others have also found it. Leave AZ-93 here (34.58077, -113.49401) and follow the decent dirt road. I continued hiking along the dirt road down into Warm Spring Canyon, the sandy wash below. There were ATV tracks most of the way down the canyon, unfortunately. The wash narrows into a canyon with tall walls, but it never narrows into a true slot. The dark-rock features are pretty, though. There's some easy rock-hopping within the canyon as you near the spring. After a bit over a mile, Kaiser Hot Spring appears on the left. It's a cute little contained tub made from piled dirt and rocks with a little hole in the rock where the spring drains from. The approach to Kaiser Hot Spring is on BLM land, but I'm not sure if the spring itself is private property.
I headed down the canyon a little farther to check out the junction with Burro Creek, a nice little detour to see flowing water in the desert amongst tall cliff walls.
