Oct 11, 2017 — Noah's Ark is just a named lookout spot, though at the time of this hike I didn't realize the peak above the lookout is also named Noah's Ark. There is no trail to that peak though, so I just did this hike to the end of the trail like everyone else before heading back the way I came. The hike starts through typical Utah forest and has some light views toward sandstone rock outcrops on the currounding hills. Not too much happens along the trail until the lookout, which has a great view of the surrounding Dixie National Forest hills and red rock formations amongst coniferous forest.
Please consider helping me out if you find my site useful. I'm not sponsored, so all site fees are out-of-pocket and my time preparing these trip reports is unpaid. You can also hire me as a web developer. I really appreciate it!
If you find my site helpful, please help me replace my many broken cameras, fund my website fees (hosting, APIs, security), or just support my countless hours of work. I pay for all expenses myself, and all trip reports I post are unpaid and unsponsored, so any support is really appreciated!
