Jul 24, 2019 — We parked at the Spring Creek Canyon Trailhead and followed a well-defined trail that crossed some open deserty before the canyon progressively narrowed. There's a short section of orange narrows that most people turn around after seeing, but a social trail continues east, becoming more bushwhacky as we went, but it was never unpleasant. We stayed in the creek as much as possible to avoid brush. Eventually, we noticed water flowing out of a narrow canyon to the north, Sweetwater Gulch. We headed up and enjoyed the sheer walls and a small waterfall before poison ivy blocked us from wanting to go farther.
Please consider helping me out if you find my site useful. I'm not sponsored, so all site fees are out-of-pocket and my time preparing these trip reports is unpaid. You can also hire me as a web developer. I really appreciate it!
If you find my site helpful, please help me replace my many broken cameras, fund my website fees (hosting, APIs, security), or just support my countless hours of work. I pay for all expenses myself, and all trip reports I post are unpaid and unsponsored, so any support is really appreciated!
