Jun 28, 2016 — Welch Mountain and Dickey Mountain are two minor unranked peaks, but the trail that loops around and links the two of them is interesting and very pretty. I followed the Welch Mountain Trail up through pleasant forest and some fun scrambling through cracks in big boulders. Steeper slabs on gorgeous slickrock led to the summit of Welch Mountain. I headed north from the summit to Dickey Mountain, where there were some more short section sof scrambling. More slabs initially led down Dickey Mountain Trail before entering the forest and leading back to the trailhead.
Please consider helping me out if you find my site useful. I'm not sponsored, so all site fees are out-of-pocket and my time preparing these trip reports is unpaid. You can also hire me as a web developer. I really appreciate it!
If you find my site helpful, please help me replace my many broken cameras, fund my website fees (hosting, APIs, security), or just support my countless hours of work. I pay for all expenses myself, and all trip reports I post are unpaid and unsponsored, so any support is really appreciated!
